1 APRIL 1942
To support advances in North Africa against the British, and the reduction of Malta, resupply efforts to Libia are being bolstered. Mining of the seas around Malta are ordered to further stem the flow of supplies for the British.
Our group is currently based out of La Spezia, Italia. Some boats and crews may be assigned to BETASOM, at Bordeaux, France. Though stationed in Bordeaux and tactically coordinating with the Kriegsmarine, those submarines will remain under operational command of Submarine Division 18.
