Two thirds of the Italian pre-war merchant fleet is at the bottom of the Mediterranean. Every means available needs to be utilized to resupply our forces in North Africa.
Our group is currently based out of La Spezia, Italia. Some boats and crews may be assigned to BETASOM, at Bordeaux, France. Though stationed in Bordeaux and tactically coordinating with the Kriegsmarine, those submarines will remain under operational command of Submarine Division 18.

“††” Minelaying Mission: See Rule 6.7.2; Mines are carried in torpedo tubes until deployed. Only reloads are carried.

“***” Weather Reporting Duty: See Rule 6.7.6.
