1 JANUARY 1941
British forces are continuing their pressure on Italian forces in the Mediterranean and in East and North Africa. Italian Submarine forces will continue to their efforts to keep the Central Mediterranean Sea clear of enemy forces. These efforts will assist in maintain open supply lines to Italian Forces fighting in East and North Africa.
Our group is currently based out of La Spezia, Italia. Some boats and crews may be assigned to BETASOM, at Bordeaux, France. Though stationed in Bordeaux and tactically coordinating with the Kriegsmarine, those submarines will remain under operational command of Submarine Division 18.

“††” Minelaying Mission: See Rule 6.7.2; Mines are carried in torpedo tubes until deployed. Only reloads are carried.
